Darwin Krips
Darwin Krips has dedicated 23 years of his career to Sturgeon Public Schools. His impressive educational background includes a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Alberta. Throughout his time at Sturgeon Composite High School, Darwin served as a music educator, grade coordinator, lead teacher, and Vice Principal for over 19 years. As Vice Principal, he developed strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the community, contributing to the school's positive culture.
For the past four years, Darwin has served as the Principal at Namao School, where he focused on creating an inclusive and welcoming school culture that emphasizes academic success and strong programming. With his wealth of skills and knowledge of school programming from Kindergarten to Grade 12, Darwin is thrilled to return to Sturgeon Composite High School and work towards making it an exceptional place for students to learn and grow.
